My favorite part was how you suggested formatting our current position if we’re unemployed so recruiters can find us in their searches. After watching your video, I listed my title as "Business Analyst currently seeking new opportunities," and I received two recruiter offers in just a couple of days. This made me wonder if expanding my title might attract even more recruiters. Right now, my title is "Business / Operations / Process Analyst currently seeking new opportunities." All these roles are similar, and I don’t want to miss out on opportunities due to keyword issues. However, I’m concerned that this broader title might turn off recruiters visually and make me seem less serious. I changed it over the weekend, but I haven’t received any new offers yet. Do you think this will work, or should I just pick one, probably business analyst, and stick with that? Thanks again!

I worked in IT at a university, and each IT staff member was assigned to a campus. Usually, there were two IT staff members at each campus, but the one I got assigned to only had me. I started talking to each teacher and the teacher managers to see what needed to be done-not my IT manager, but the teachers and their managers. The place was a complete mess, for example, they had machines worth over a million dollars that hadn’t worked for 5-6 years, just sitting there. Simple problems like a PC not working or a TV issue would take two weeks to even look at, let alone fix. When I asked what the last two IT guys did before I came along, they said they never saw them or received any emails back from them. In six months, I had the place up and running, and I was only getting paid just above minimum wage. Then something clicked in me: I realized I should take it easy because I had done the work of two guys for five years in just six months. They had a rating system-it was super toxic, I know-but I was on top in every score, so I didn’t care. Although we were supposed to wear office clothes, I started coming in 15 minutes late every day in sweatpants, hoodies, and beanies. I did this for 1.5 years. The students looked more presentable than I did, lol.
